Susan advises clients on private client matters and has specialised in this area since qualifying in 2007. She is experienced in drafting Wills, inheritance tax planning, winding up estates and with the formation and management of trusts. Susan deals with all aspects of powers of attorney, including drafting and assisting clients in their actions as attorneys.

Susan undertook her traineeship with McCash and Hunter and worked with the firm for a number of years. She spent a period of time working in Inverness before rejoining the firm in 2018 and is now the Managing Partner.

She is a Notary Public and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the professional body for practitioners specialising in the field of trusts and estates having completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (Scotland).

Susan also tutors on the Private Client module of the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Dundee.

Outside of the office Susan is kept busy with her young family.
